We will never call upon any god besides Him, for then we would be uttering an outrage.”ġ5. “These, our people, have taken gods below Him. They were youths who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance.ġ4. And We strengthened their hearts, as they stood up and said, “Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth.
Grave is the word that comes out of their mouths-they say nothing but a lie.Ħ. Perhaps you may destroy yourself with grief, chasing after them, if they do not believe in this information.ħ. We made what is on earth a decoration for it, to test them, as to which of them is better in conduct.Ĩ. And We will reduce whatever is on it into a barren wasteland.ĩ. Did you think that the Inhabitants of the Cave and the Inscription were of Our wondrous signs?ġ0. When the youths took shelter in the cave, they said, “Our Lord, give us mercy from Your Presence, and bless our affair with guidance.”ġ1. Then We sealed their ears in the cave for a number of years.ġ2. Then We awakened them, to know which of the two groups would better estimate the length of their stay.ġ3. We relate to you their story in truth.
In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.ġ. Praise be to God, who revealed the Book to His servant, and allowed no distortion in it.Ģ. Valuable-to warn of severe punishment from Himself and to give good news to the believers who do good works, that they will have an excellent reward.Ĥ. And to warn those who say, “God has begotten a son.”ĥ. They have no knowledge of this, nor did their forefathers.
